The Reverend John Bedingfield is our Rector.  Fr. John came to St. John's in February, 2007 from  Holy Spirit, Houston where he was the Associate Rector.  He is a 2005 graduate of the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, in Austin, Texas.  Fr. John also holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas School of Law and a BA from the University of Texas at Dallas.  He is married to the former Donna Jarvis and they have three children (Shannon, Brian and Taylor) and three grandsons.

The Reverend Tracie Middleton is our Deacon. Tracie attended seminary at the Iona School for Ministry in the Diocese of Texas and was ordained in February 2009 as a vocational or permanent deacon. She served as an intern at St. John's for 9 months while in seminary and after ordination was assigned to St. John’s and also as chaplain to the Vidor Firefighters’ Association. Tracie focuses on helping members of the church individually and as a community to identify and develop our outreach ministries. As a bi-vocational clergy, Tracie also holds a “regular” job teaching English as a Second Language at Lamar University in Beaumont, where she is completing her Master’s in English Literature. Her BA is from Austin College in Sherman, TX.
