The Reverend John Bedingfield was our Rector from February 2007-2011. He accepted a call to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Lafayette, La in March of this year.  

We are now in the process of discerning what kind of ministry St. John's is called to do and what our next steps will be.

The Reverend Tracie Middleton is our Deacon. Tracie attended seminary at the Iona School for Ministry in the Diocese of Texas and was ordained in February 2009 as a vocational or permanent deacon. She served as an intern at St. John's for 9 months while in seminary and after ordination was assigned to St. John’s and also as chaplain to the Vidor Firefighters’ Association. Tracie focuses on helping members of the church individually and as a community to identify and develop our outreach ministries. As a bi-vocational clergy, Tracie also holds a “regular” job teaching English as a Second Language at Lamar University in Beaumont, where she is completing her Master’s in English Literature. Her BA is from Austin College in Sherman, TX.
